why would you add pt nuke to your coolant? its only for distilled water not coolant if you wanted to further buffer your coolant for algae protection you should have added the pt nuke -phn which is made for that purpose. Don't be surprised if a chemical reaction occurs and you have gunk all over you waterblock and pump etc. -BD

@Ceadderman Thank you for your response. It was wise of you to go for the product which had tighter timings. You will surely get some more performance out of it. Heat really isn't an issue with any memory, and infact they all can be run without heatspreaders. I guess providing the heatspreader is an extra gimmick for any memory kits.

I like your Trident Review. I have my Dominators however. Quad channel 1333 series RAM that have much tighter timings. I was considering these Tridents and still think they are great Chips giving the Mhz but I wanted something with a lower latency standard which is why I went with mine. For the record I got the fan with mine and have a 230mm blowing in on the RAM and a 230 exhausting above the the kit. Not sure heat should be an issue with me. Great vid though. Subbed.

@acheron0508 Yes of course. Though you may have problems with getting it at 2000MHz. So you should try 1600, with lower timings. That way you do not compensate thje speed. Please subscribe to our channel.

We all know PhysX is a parallel task so a six-core X86 chip should handle it well.

A dual core CPU can run this just as nicely. As I mentioned the person who managed to get this to work hasn't done a perfect job. For example when using GPU PhysX you would have 1 emmiter and all the GPU cores would work on that. However when you use the CPU it adds another emitter, thus increasing work load also. CPUs can run physX along with AI and anything else within a game. Developers do use the CPU for Physics. Only games that have PhysX use the GPU. Crysis for example runs on 2 cores.

I'm not convinced that even a 6-core is fast enough to go far beyond basic physics when AI and other game code needs to be executed as well. Have you seen fluid dynamics like in Batman or Dark Void in games which use Havok or other CPU physics engines? You may be right that it's possible, but it does beg the question why no game designer makes use of these effects on CPUs.

@cildni You may not think so but I get roughly the same frame rates in Fluid as with PhysX games. Mirrors edge gets the same frame rates for example with a dedicated PhysX card. Ofcourse testing on the CPU is only for proof of concept. I did say multicore support for PhysX probably won't be implemented in games. I'm not at all trying to question the speed of GPU acceleration. GPU PhysX clearly has a greater performance but the CPU is also acceptable. Even with less than 6 cores.

Fluidmark is not an indicator of acceptable framerates. In games there's a lot more going on than just physics. It surprises me time and time again how people question the validity of GPGPU and how graphics processors are much faster at these kinds of calculations than CPUs.

The reason wy it looks choppy in the video is that I set PhysX to use all 6 cores, that means fraps needs to take some juice aswell. Honestly it works pretty good with 6 cores. And if you didn't know, usually PhysX in software mode (CPU) only uses 1 core which is why performance is horrible.

The H50 Low cost liquid cooling performs very well, needs no maintanance and looks very sleek. Definately recomennded for quite PC lovers, or mild overclockers. Don't expect any hardcore oferclocking with this. My dads CPU is an AMD Phenom II X4

@tigerag29607 Yes, the stock compound was cleaned. The cooler had been tested prior to installation. The compound I used has no curing time. It works at it's best as soon as it is applied. It's best to keep the stock paste on. I believe that it's a Shin Etsu. Either way the stock one is high quality stuff. Don't forget to subscribe to support our work.

@jase8907 You should expect 40-50C on full load. The PC is my fathers so I am unable to test at this time. BVut it is much much quieter than the stock cooler. The stock cooler is loud enough to disturb another person watching tV in the same room. Withthe H50 they can't tell that the PC is even turned on.

@devtech I have used many differen't types of cooling, such a s a TRUE 120, H50 and a custom water loop. All 3 had no trouble at 4GHz. But the custom loop Helped to achieve 4.2GHz.

I would also like to add, if you go to tomshardware, and look for "Intel Core i7-875K And Core i5-655K Battle Beyond 4 GHz" you will see the most of the test the i7-875K is faster. You have to think more than just cores. The Thread is also the next best thing. (AMD 1090T 6mb cache, total 6 threads, i7-875K 8mb cache, total 8 threads)

@orioncheung I was referring to 980X. But in the UK, 1090T was £230 launch day. And 875K is currently £300. That's a big difference in price. Not to mention that it's a 1156 CPU so you are stuck with no upgrade path. The 1090T is also faster, with the 2 extra cores being used and when OCed it competes well with the 980X.

@FRURMELLL If you are buying a new rig, then buy a motherboard which already supports the X6. You should only update bios to use X6 if you already have a rig with a quad, triple or dual core CPU. What would happen if the motherboard doesn't accept the X6 at all and doesn't post? Then you have to buy a cheap AM3 CPU just to update the bios. Think safe, get a motherboard with an 8 series chipset. Please subscribe to our channel, it will be a big help.

@mauzzeppelinhendirx Do not buy that motherboard. It has a 7 series chispset (790X). Buy one with an 8 series chipset. Otherwise you will need to do a bios update with one of the supported CPUs before being able to use the X6. The M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 is a great motherboard. I think you should consider it.
