By: dormantreign. on 28 Aug 10, 17:39:06
I'm glad to hear eVGA supports overclocking. Made me very happy as i'm pushing my 460 (768mb) to 850 & 875 on the core from stock 675 :P. I think ill buy from them from this day on.

A good way to lower the temperature of your video card ( CPU works too) is to clean out the fan and heat sync. of the card, the same way as shown in NCIX tech tips #13. It got me 7 degrees Celcius drop and my card is only 2 years old!

Hey linus how do I disable powerplay?
By: GingerGAMER7. on 05 Aug 10, 08:58:20
@ronkironkironki Oh okay, fair enough. Thanks
By: ronkironkironki. on 05 Aug 10, 08:10:56
@GingerGAMER7 it's still under warranty, pre-overclocked(manufacturer overclocked) cards are under warranty because they are sure it's guaranteed to work at that speeds. But in any case you, stock speed or pre overclocked cards, overclock it, warranty is void.
By: GingerGAMER7. on 04 Aug 10, 20:18:47
@ronkironkironki What about if I bought, for example, the MSI Cyclone GTX460, which has already been overclocked by MSI themselves?
By: ronkironkironki. on 04 Aug 10, 12:26:37
@GingerGAMER7 of course it does.
By: GingerGAMER7. on 01 Aug 10, 18:25:11
Does overclocking itself void your warrenty? Even if you dont remove the stock cooler?
