If you want to test all of the 24G of RAM while also stressing the CPU, try creating several (8+) virtual machines, give each about 2Gb of RAM and then run you benchmark software in the VMs. Using Windows 2008 with Hyper-V for that might be better than Win7 w/ Virtual PC 2010.

@asgate Memtest86 is quite a good program for testing ram as it allows you to select how much memory to test and gives the option to use all free memory or enter custom amounts.
